Last day here in Ethiopia, we visited one more project (4 sponsored children), then went back to the Childfund office for a debrief.
I was a bit sad at the debrief as it confirmed that my journey was over. We went over everything we did, saw and felt… Childfund have been amazing to us on this trip. Everything was organised perfectly and they really took care of us.

Today we returned to Addis Ababa, then drove almost 4 hours to North Shoa were we visited our first sponsor child. He had been with us since he was 4 years of age. He is 19 now! Touring the churches today was just incredible.
*Lalibela is known around the world for its monolithic churches which play an important part in the history of rock-cut architecture. Though the dating of the churches is not well established, most are thought to have been built during the reign of Lalibela, namely during the 12th and 13th centuries. Ethiopia Day 4
Today we went on touring Bahar Dar. We were to see the Blue Nile Falls, a Monastery, and some hungry hungry hippos. Then later in the afternoon fly out to Lalibela where were were meant to be originally.
